It is a privilege to get opportunity to assume charge as the President of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides being Chief Secretary. The main objectives of the Bharat Scouts and Guides is to contribute to the development of young girls and boys in achieving their full physical, social and spiritual, as individuals and lO become a responsible c itizens, as members of the local, national and international communities .

I appreciate the Meghalaya Sharat Scouts and Guides to have its own Websites and this dynamic Website is being updated with the assistance of NIC. I would like each and every one of us remember the basic principles of movement i.e. Duty to God , Duty to others and Duty to self.

As a member of this great movement, my dear Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Ranger, Commissioners and all friends, let us do our bounden duty and responsibility to adhere to the principles so that together we will be able to achieve our objectives and contribute towards nation building. Let us all be compassionate and be prepared "to do our best in the service of others and the country.
